The Story Behind Tiny Frog
The Story Behind Tiny Frog
Tiny Frog Press celebrates imaginative, emotionally resonant stories from independent voices. With backgrounds in marketing, market research, editing, and graphic design, we bring both creative and strategic insight to every project. We are dedicated writers and lifelong lovers of libraries who approach publishing with equal parts craft and curiosity. We publish writers exploring the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Outside the press, we’re proud family people who believe the best stories are the ones that linger long after the last page is turned.
We drew inspiration from Puerto Rico’s coquí, a small tree frog with a mighty voice. It’s a nod to our roots and a symbol of what we stand for: persistence, resilience, and the belief that even the smallest voice deserves to be heard. The coquí perseveres to borderline folkloric levels. That is why we are proud to model ourselves after the beloved tiny frog.
From the Founder

I founded this imprint to champion books, both fiction and nonfiction, that explores identity, belonging, and the subtle edges of everyday life. I’m drawn to work that treats ordinary people with dignity and curiosity and that finds wonder without losing truth.
As a writer myself, I know how vulnerable it feels to send your work into the world. This press exists to handle stories with care and to take emerging voices seriously.
My hope is to build a home for thoughtful, accessible works and to grow a catalog that readers trust. If a Tiny Frog book is in your hands, it should mean something heartfelt.
