A few years ago, the evolution of the H-gene changed the world. Women began developing extraordinary abilities, and a new era of heroes emerged. But not everyone in the world gets powers. Some have to live with them. The support group is where those left on the sidelines find each other. Spouses, partners, and loved ones of heroes, all trying to adjust to a new normal shaped by danger, distance, and a society that worships the extraordinary. Davey, a therapist, founded the group to create a safe space for other spouses. Together, they build something quiet but vital: a community of eclectic individuals. When a life-changing event fractures the safety they have built, each of them is forced to face what it means to love someone who can save the world and what it means to save yourself.
